Hi, I’m Akshay Taneja — a mechanical engineer, builder, and the mind behind Whizbangery. Based in Edmonton, I’ve been creating, designing, and fabricating for as long as I can remember. Whether it was building custom vehicles during university, designing electronics, or prototyping new products, making things has always been a part of who I am.

My work blends a strong foundation in engineering with a love for hands-on experimentation. Over the years, I’ve developed and built everything from mechanical assemblies and one-off gadgets to functional car parts — including custom 3D printed components for my own projects. I started Whizbangery with the goal of offering affordable, high-quality prototyping and 3D printing services for fellow makers, hobbyists, and small teams who want to bring their ideas to life.
